The food was great! I had the 5-OH Burger and it was fantastic. The potato salad was better than I was expecting, I just wish they gave a little more.
This place is a can't miss in Bay Saint Louis. If you ask, they will even give you a tour of the jail cells in the Cafe. It is located in a 1905 City Hall building. The food was fresh and wonderful. The staff was super friendly. I didn't want to leave.
Panini by the bay sandwich is killer. Also, I love that they know me by name when I call in my order.

When I visited about three weeks ago it was a lovely experience! The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. No confusion about where to order or if we seat ourselves. However, this recent visit.... Horrible. It took an hour to get our food (there were only two other tables with customers at them, one of which left soon after we arrived, so they had already been waited on). When we walked in and tried to order at the counter (like the sign said to, and what we did at our previous visit), we were mumbled at to pick a table and they would be with us in a minute. There were no menus provided, we had to ask the table that had already ordered for their menus. It took a good thirty minutes to get our appetizer (hummus and pita chips), and another good thirty to receive our actual food (two sandwiches and a wrap), which the dressing for the wrap was spilled in front of me by the waitress, who did not even attempt to clean it up. We had to ask for more napkins, of which we did not receive when we first arrived. Our order rang up to $45. $45 for packaged lunch meat and spilled dressing. The waitress was the farthest from attentive that you could possibly get. Maybe it was just a bad day, or maybe it was just the waitress, who knows. They told us they are transitioning to a Greek Italian menu, so the current food will no longer be available. Maybe we'll check it out once it's changed. However, we will not be returning any time soon.
