I came in on a Saturday. The ER was clean and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I was seen and treated in under an hour. I am grateful they were here. I almost drove 30minutes to Diamondhead UC because of the poor rating. I highly recommend Hancock Medical ER.

Ok so now we've been here 3 1/2 hrs her blood pressure still high and they haven't given here anything for it???

My wife has high blood pressure extremely high been waiting for the doctor for about 20 min now ...and this is emergency....yea right oh but I'm sure I'll get that bill..her pressure is

207/120...what the f@$@^

I have had a number of surgeries here as well as 2 tests requiring surgery. I have always been more than pleased with the way I was treated and with the outcomes of the procedures. The staff are very professional and friendly and I have absolutely no complaints, besides if you're there early enough the hospital halls smell like bacon which is a very good thing. It made me feel like I was home. The check in procedure goes smoothly by very friendly office people. There can be a wait for doctors, but this is not the fault of the hospital and one of my longest waits was caused by an emergency which was very understandable. I really like this hospital and feel like I'm in good hands whenever I'm there.

What the hell....

And I guess high blood pressure is not life or death..

My mother was visiting from Maryland and presented with chest pain and shortness of breath. There was one physician, who was excellent, covering the entire hospital. After lab work and and EKG she was left alone in a bed for over 4 hours. Not one nurse came to check on her in over four hours. I was extremely disappointed in my local hospital.

Make that an hour and a have waiting..I happen to ask the nurse what was going and was told only one doctor on duty taking care of life or death patient's...mmmm ok this is the emergency room and only one doctor??...

was in the area recently for a weekend getaway to my family's fishing camp. I was admitted to the ER with appendicitis. I felt very well taken care of the entire time. Dr. Anthony performed my surgery. He came in on his weekend off to do the surgery. All of the staff was very caring and professional. Being in a medical emergency away from home can be scary, but the staff at Hancock medical took great care of me.
