Literally the worst Waffle House experience I've ever had. Starting with we weren't greeted upon entry, sat down to a dirty table, only to discover both tables around us were dirty as well, and I mean DIRTY. Well ordering our food went okay, only to receive our order completely wrong. Sad when you have to tell the cook bacon comes on a patty melt, and isn't extra. But, it didn't really matter since like the hash browns the bacon we finally got was completely scorched. The condiment caddy was empty, so not even like I could just drown the hash browns in ketchup. Hell, I nearly choked on said bacon, because guess what? We NEVER received a refill on drinks, even though multiple employees walked past our table. Had to get one togo. So, in closing I did what I've never done in 10 years of bartending, serving, and being a manager at restaurants across the coast. I left a $0 tip on my cc receipt. She even had the nerve to say "oh,...thanks!.." sweetly as I walked out the door. If only you had shown that enthusiasm when we arrived...
Best waffle house i have ever been in. They even had a greeter open the doors for us. Very clean, standing room only, great food better service. I gave it 5 stars.
Staff and food was wonderful. And Mr. Wayne was great to my grandsons.
